    I purchased 2 of the SandShark Anchors 4 years ago and can attest to their longevity and holding power. We have had as many as 3 boats tied off to our anchor in 35 MPH winds when everyone else anchor was dragging. If you're anchoring in less than 6' of water, with a sandy bottom there is nothing that compares to the holding power of these anchors. One of the best under rated benefit is that it collapses into its own carrying case and can be stored just about anywhere. That way you can still carry your regular anchor in the anchor locker for deeper anchorages.

    Great product for any size boat.

    Made the mistake of buying a cheaper version on my last boat. Didn't make that mistake again, this is amazing holds my 23ft Sea Hunt perfect! I will order a second one soon, and the new design doesn't have the pen that use to stick.

    Great Product

    I have been using these on my 23’ Tige RZX. It is a heavy boat. These work great. No more getting splashed in the face while setting a sand spike. They are visible above the water. Set them and forget them. This is an awesome well built product.

    Sand shark XL

    I have a 26ft tritoon that is like a sail boat when the wind blows. I use one of these at the front and one at the rear and my boat doesn’t move. No more anchor lines and chain. Love the product.

    Great product for any size boat.

    Amazing product and company

    Couldn't be more impressed with this anchor and the company. They worked with me to get the product I needed in time for our week long boating trip. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. I was very happy with the service I got and the quick replies from customer support. The Anchor works great in sand. It dug deep and held firm. The quality of craftsmanship is outstanding! Thick metal with well soldered parts. This thing will never fall apart or break. Outstanding experience!

    OK for a second anchor

    The spec says it will hold a pontoon boat less than 25ft, I have a 23ft pontoon and the XL will not hold my boat in winds of 15-20 mph. It bends downward and eventually pulls out of the sand. I now use it as a secondary anchor to keep the back end of the boat from drifting around when other boats are nearby and that works good. Not really worth the money I paid for it. One other note is that the "free" line that comes with it has a carabiner on one end but not the other. This causes the problem of twisting the line around the SandShark while screwing it in to the sand. It would be much more convenient with a carabiner at both ends.
