Perfect solution
Got a new Yamaha AR210 which was too big for my current boat lift. I have a shallow beachfront with a sandy bottom so took a chance to see if this would work in a pinch. Order arrived on time and have used it for the last week to anchor the boat overnight for the last week. I was a little concerned that with shifting currents the boat would bump up against the poll so I screwed it all the way down into the sand so that just the eyelet is just sticking out. Combined with the bungee rope they sell, this is a perfect solution. The boat stays out when tied up during the day. At night, I add an anchor to the back. It’s not necessary but helps me sleep better. The only thing I would change is to add an extra D ring to the bungee rope for ease of connection. Other than that, great product that saves me the trouble of having to put the boat in and out everyday and gives me more time on the lake.
